Why do auto insurance premiums change?
Auto insurance premiums change for the same reasons that the price of other goods and services you buy change. Your auto insurance is affected by: medical costs to treat injuries, auto repair costs, costs to adjust claims, inflation, and uninsured drivers.

Am I covered if I drive someone elses vehicle?
Basically, the insurance goes with the car, not the person. So be careful if you lend your car to someone because if they get in an accident in your vehicle, it goes on your insurance. And vice-versa if your drive someone elses car.

What are liability limits?
Liability is the coverage that pays for medical bills of the other party if you are at-fault in an accident. There are different limits of liability. In Colorado the state minimum is 25/50. This means Farmers will pay up to 25,000 per person for medical bills no more than 50,000 per accident. The other limits are 50/100, 100/300, and 250/500. Ask our customer service representatives which coverage is best for you.
